IN CLASS SUPPORT
Committed to Enriching the Lives of Children
The main goal of the In Class support service is to help students achieve their full potential and to provide support to both the students and the teachers in addressing individual needs and promoting positive behavior in the classroom.
Through personalized support, teacher awareness, and demonstrating good practices, this service helps students to develop confidence and understand their strengths and areas for improvement.
The class teacher is responsible for the teaching and assessment of the student and the In Class support mentor is there to provide additional support and help meet the needs of individual students.
The mentor serves as an additional resource for the teacher and can help raise the teacher's awareness of the student's needs, provide feedback and demonstrate good practices.
However, the ultimate responsibility of teaching and assessing the student remains with the class teacher.
